Born in Boston,Lora has spent most of her life in the spotlight.
At a very young age Lora liked being the centre of attention and
always enjoyed making people smile and laugh. Lora has
always had a very high interest in all things musical and from
the age of 5 until 13 Lora joined the Allen School of Dance,
doing many different dance styles including ballet, tap and
drama to name a few, and earning highly commended in all
exams. Onto secondary school and Lora was chosen to learn a
brass instrument. This instrument was the French Horn. Going through all the grades upto and including Grade8 and playing in two different wind bands (one for Lincolnshire), Lora has fell in love with the horn and owns her own. Lora also toured with the Lincolnshire Symphonic Wind Band and spent ten days in Malta playing in all sorts of different hotels and outside arenas. Alongside playing in these bands, Lora sang as a lead singer and backing singer in the Boston Youth Jazz Orchestra and toured with them to Spain, spending eight days performing in a selection of hotels. In the background of all this, Lora was falling for another instrument- the piano. Achieving Grade8 in this also, Lora enjoys whiling away an afternoon or evening writing songs or playing past pieces of music. Lora won the Grantham music festival about eight years ago playing one of her own songs-Did I tell you. Lora's heart has always been in entertaining and anything that involves music and or singing. In 2000, Lora started her singing career and was under an agent based in Boston. Lora travelled round the country singing in small pubs and clubs and had the exciting experience of singing in front of thousands of people in Party in the Park. From there Lora moved to Cleethorpes to live with her fiance, Steven Knight. Carrying on with the cabaret singing in pubs and clubs Lora also worked alongside Steven at the Beachcomber Holiday Park in Cleethorpes, doing children's entertainment, children's parties and helping with the disco's. Steven then got promoted to Entertainments manager at the beginning of the season 2007 and Lora became a permanent member of the Entertainments team. Lora was then in the area that she loved the most - Entertaining! Through the past two years Lora, Steve and Rob,(amongst others) were the resident Entertainments team and were able to put together and perform in over fifty different shows including a variety show, songs from the musicals shows and themed shows. Through these two years and some fifty different shows Fuzion was born. Lora still loves being in the spotlight and has found that entertaining is DEFINATELY where her heart is!
